A day's fishing here is 5,000 baht per day per person. The fishing includes the use of two Free Spirit 10ft 6lb TC fishing rods per angler, with Shimano Big Baitrunner Long Cast reels, rod pod and electronic bite alarms, all end tackle and a reasonable amount of bait. All anglers have an experienced English guide on hand at all times. We supply cool boxes with cold drinks at extra cost to your fishing position; the price also includes free local transfers within 20km of Gillhams. Day ticket fishing times are 8am to 7pm. No food or drink are included in the price, but we have a large restaurant/pub overlooking the lake serving a full English and Thai menu, and all drinks and food can be delivered to your fishing location if required.

All anglers are supplied with a reasonable amount of free bait per day as follows: Groundbait (method mix) two x 8kg bowls per day, and additional 8kg bowls are 200 baht per bowl. Sea fish dead baits 1x ½kg pack per day, and additional ½kg packs are 30 baht per pack. If you are fishing an area with an abundance of shrimp extra packs are free of charge. Maize 1kg per day, additional maize 30 baht per kg. We do not provide boilies in our price, but they are available at 400 baht per kg, but all additives, flavors, dips and enhancers etc to be provided by the angler at own cost. No outside baits are allowed unless they are of a recognized brand name.

All anglers are supplied with two rods. Only one fish bait can be in use at any time (you cannot use two rods baited with fish).

We also allow a third fishing rod to be hired at 1,000 baht extra per day.

Strictly no rod sharing – only the paying angler can fish, any guests fishing will be charged at the full day ticket price. This includes guides and agents bringing their clients to our fishery.

For guests staying at the resort the fishing times are 7am to 8pm. Additional out of hours fishing can be arranged at 500 baht per hour, but to be honest after 8pm the oxygen is dropping and the fish go off the feed. The same scenario applies to early morning – by 7am the oxygen levels are rising and the fish start feeding again.

Accommodation consists of 14 two-bedroom luxury lakeside bungalows with air con, ceiling fan, TV and DVD, fridge, mini bar and wall safe. The front bedroom has a double bed, and the rear bedroom has two single beds. The rear bedroom has a separate front door and is only let with the front room. If the front room is booked alone the rear room is locked and not let for the duration of your stay. Each bungalow has its own large private hot and cold shower room connected to the front and rear bedrooms by a small corridor with locking internal doors. There is a large, covered balcony overlooking the lake, and all bungalows are set within 12 meters of the lake.

Price for accommodation includes breakfast for maximum two people per room. The price also includes free transfers from and return to Krabi airport, or local transfers within 25 km of Gillhams. All additional meals and drinks are charged for. We have a large restaurant/pub overlooking the lake serving full English and Thai menus, with large sports TV, and also a free pool table. Staying guests also get the use of our large private infinity swimming pool overlooking the nine-acre lake set in seven acres of private gardens. The whole complex is discreetly fenced with 24-hour security.

The price for one night using the front bedroom of a bungalow with a full English breakfast, including one day's fishing for one angler, and one non-fishing guest staying for free is 7,000 baht per night. Additional angler in same room, 4,000 baht.

The price for both front and rear bedrooms with one day's fishing for two anglers and one non-fishing guest staying for free in each room is 13,000 baht per night. Additional angler in same room, 4,000 baht.

Should one bedroom be let to one angler and the second bedroom is let to non-fishing family or friends the cost for the second bedroom is 1,200 baht per night.

We offer the possibility for a 3,000 baht per day discount to anglers wishing to take a non-fishing day.

Please ask for group rates and long stay prices, or why not rent the whole lake exclusively including bungalows at 100,000 baht per one day and one night.


Due to popular demand we have added this additional option as many couples and families wish to visit Krabi's many other attractions. Using Gillhams as a base due to its tranquility, facilities and luxury accommodation, you can now rent the bungalow only for 3,000 baht per night for a front bedroom, and 1,000 baht per night for a rear bedroom, booked only with the front bedroom by family or friends. This includes a full English breakfast and fishing odd hours between your family holiday at 500 baht per hour.

There is lots for the family to do, and all the day trips can be arranged from the resort. All the trips do a free pick-up service from our resort too. The very best beaches are on the close by islands, and again the local boatmen pick up from here. Elephant trekking is close by, and the ferry to Phi Phi is 15 minutes away. A trip I recommend to everyone is the sea kayak; you have a guide and paddle a short way in a secluded bay to the big lime karsts, which come out of the ocean floor. It is here that you have sea caves, which you paddle through to enter inside the karsts. Once inside you will find stunning unspoilt rain forest. This trip is only 10km down the road from our resort. We have horse riding close by, hot springs and pools, waterfalls, even quad biking, white water rafting, rock climbing, plus much more. The tourist town of Ao-Nang is only 19km away, where you will find nice beaches, shopping, spas, restaurants and nightlife. The typical Thai market town of Krabi is only 15km away where you will find river trips, shopping local style restaurants and good nightclubs with live music.

We require a 30% deposit to confirm booking with balance paid on arrival.

We can take credit card payment with your credit card number and expiry date. We can only take credit cards not debit cards, and only Visa or Mastercard. Thai banks charge a 3% handling fee which is passed on to the client.

Alternately you can transfer money to our Thai bank in Thai baht, but this option does incur transfer charges on both sides, which are again passed onto the client.
