Please only phone us if you have an urgent matter to discuss please also bear in mind the time difference, please check the time before calling. For your and our protection we only price fishing trips via email and do not issue quotations over the phone.

We do not show set prices, as they can be confusing, we have several pricing options depending on bungalow type, length of stay and how many anglers to a bungalow etc.

We welcome couples, single anglers, families and groups. From one angler to 16 anglers we are pleased to send you a tailor made quotation; we prefer to quote each and every inquiry as a personal quotation of your requirements.

We are primarily a fishing resort; catering for guests who stay at the resort to fish. We do not sell holidays without fishing; at least 75% of the stay has to include fishing. Fishing days need to be booked at time of making a reservation.

We are a Thai company trading in our home currency, our prices are in Thai Baht; the Thai baht price we give you is guaranteed not to change.

We have constructed to western standards six one-bedroom and eight two-bedroom high quality bungalows. All the bungalows are within 12 meters of the lake with stunning views.

At the resort we have a restaurant overlooking the lake serving Thai and European food; also in the restaurant we have a separate relaxing area with sofas and bar, plus an 86 inch TV for showing sporting events.

We have a small shop selling day-to-day items toiletries, drinks, snacks, ice creams etc.

At the resort we have a large infinity pool overlooking the lake set in beautiful gardens, plus a gym.

We also have a spa with 2 x massage beds, set in landscaped gardens with ornamental fish ponds, plus a cookery school. Also at the Spa you can purchase snacks and drinks during the day.

We recommend watching our promo film; although the film is four years old now and we have added a spa since it will still give you an insight on the resort and some day trips.

We used to allow outside baits from recognized bait companies, however recently jealousy between rival fisheries has resulted in threats to poison fish with poisoned bait. In view of this we are taking the precaution of banning all outside bait other than pop-ups, to be honest the amount of our bait the fish see it was always a problem to switch them onto another bait however good it was claimed to be.

Our private pool villa is the perfect place for your next fishing vacation, whether it’s just you & your partner, families or on holiday with friends this private pool villa is the perfect retreat. The villa is located just a few meters away from the lake over looking the beautiful national park & set amongst stunning landscaped gardens.

The Pool Villa boasts three beautiful bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms, air con, sealing fans and 42inch TV with full channel playlists. Our two master bedrooms are both equipped with double beds while our third bedroom has two single beds.

The villa also has a living room fully equipped with a large L shaped sofa, 62inch flat screen TV with full satellite channels, and a dining area over looking the lake with a table big enough for six people including a fully equipped kitchen.

The villa has beautiful landscaped gardens and a stunning sun deck area with infinity swimming pool, sun beds and a stunning sala with a large sofa area. Our sun deck also offers a place where you can chill out in the evening in the comfort of your very own private pool villa enjoying an ice cold beer, glass of wine or what ever takes your fancy while talking fishing tales and making plans for the following day in paradise.

Spectacular Four Bedroom House With Private Pool

The house was built by Stuart the founder of Gillhams, now that Stuart is retired, he spends nine months of the year in England. It seemed a waste of such a magnificent house, so we persuaded Stuart to let our customers rent the house for their holidays.

The house has been built to very high standards as his own residence, with incredible furnishings and stylish ornaments. All rooms have ceiling fans and air-conditioning,

The house is contained in a private garden with stunning views over the lake and surrounding lime karsts, once you enter the gate you will feel like you have no neighbours as no other properties overlook you.

Outside you have a large, shaded balcony with sofas, step of the balcony to a paved sunbathing area and straight into your large private infinity pool, which overlooks an ornamental pond with its own resident arapaima’s.

Once you enter the double front doors you step into the dining room, which as all the house is tastefully furnished, and boasts a large table that will seat 10 people. Adjoining the dining room is a modern fully fitted kitchen, with oven and hob, large fridge freezer and microwave. You can order meals from the restaurant which will be delivered to the house and served for you by our staff.

There is a hallway to a rear bedroom fitted with two single beds, the room has a large tv and access to the patio via double glass doors. The room boasts a walk-in wardrobe. Directly over from the bedroom is a bathroom.

To the left of the dining room is a large bedroom with ensuite bathroom walk in wardrobe, plus Italian leather sofa and large tv, the bedroom has direct access to the front balcony and outside sofa.

Upstairs is accessed by a large staircase which leads into a tv room with a huge tv and Italian leather mechanical lazy boy chairs. Turning left you have a short hallway leading to the master bedroom, this huge bedroom boasts a 2.5 metre super king bed, Italian leather sofa large tv with a private balcony with two seats and table overlooking the lake and ornamental pond. The bedroom has a large walk-in wardrobe plus a beautiful bathroom boasting a 2.5mtr jacuzzi bath, twin sinks, and shower.

Leading to the front of the house via a short hallway from the tv room you will enter the sitting room, this room has glass walls floor to ceiling on three sides and overlooks the lake with a stunning backdrop of lime karsts. This room has a large Italian leather sofa and coffee table. To the right of the living room is the 4^th bedroom, this room also has a 2.5mtr super king bed and tv, with stunning views over the lake and lime karsts, you also have your own private balcony with two seats and table. Just over from this bedroom is a large bathroom.

The house is furnished to an incredibly high standard, it will sleep a maximum of eight people. It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms two of which are ensuite.

The following are answers to questions people often ask us:

• • Should you only require the front bedroom of a lakeside bungalow, the rear bedroom and or the sofa room will be locked and not let for the duration of your stay.

 

• • Our prices include transfers from and return to the following areas: Krabi airport, Krabi Town, Ao-Nang, Nopparat Thara, Ao-Nammao, Klong Muang & Tubkaak. The resort is 20 to 30 minutes from these locations.

 

• • Our bungalows are fitted with a double bed in the front bedroom and two single beds in the rear bedroom; we can add a fold-up bed in the rear bedroom for an additional child.

• • Due to bungalows having a check in time of 2pm with a check out time of 11am, there is a possibility your room will not be available until 2pm and you would need to vacate the bungalow by 11am. This does not affect your fishing times and we can store your bags.

 

• • We have permanently employed English speaking guides who work here full time, they work one guide between four anglers. They will assist anglers to the level required, this includes helping with location and setting up equipment, netting and taking care of fish, plus helping to photo your catch.

 

• • We are sponsored by some of the top tackle companies, all the equipment we provide is in good condition and suited to how we fish. Every angler is provided with 2 x Free Spirit 6lb tc CatTamer rods, 2 x Front Drag reels (we do not have Baitrunner reels), 2 x electronic bite alarms with swingers, 1 x rod pod, all end tackle, plus a reasonable amount of bait per day. Additional bait can be purchased at a fair price shown on our web site under prices , a third rod can also be added for additional cost of 2,800 baht per day.

 

• • We are not for one minute suggesting the following would apply to you, however some people choose to go out in the evening to find a ‘partner’. Just so people are aware; Gillhams is a family resort and our home, therefore working girls are not allowed at the resort.
